In my opinion every event or tournament has a good and a bad reputation? With that said we have to look at how some things were like during the tournament and after the good things that happened during the 2014 World Cup.
Are there good things that happened during the 2014 World Cup I ask?
Did the tournament a reputation everyone can talk about during the World Cup talks were about how there was a scandal regarding the fake tickets sales which had a negative publicity about World Cup because people were buying fake tickets to see the games which they were sold by an old man by the name Ray Whelan was arrested in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Monday 7 July 2014 at the hotel police that they confiscated 82 tickets to the upcoming matches. With the results that it didn't put Brazil in a good reputation although the culprit was caught pending an investigation to see who else was involved of the fraud that happening of selling fake tickets to the football lovers.
I believe that things got worse when Brazil was knocked out of the tournament the people of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro were very angry there were buses and other things were also burned it shows that there was no love after the World Cup I am sure that most were glad to see it over because the spirit of football was no longer and which made this World Cup reputation was horrible it had been years since which things happened during the tournament it safe to say when Brazilians get angry they burn things because of anger. There were two good positive things about the tournament even thou there were a bit of hicks-ups along the way with the protesting the stadiums were build and ready for the tournament with 12 Stadiums with seven being new and five renovated all the venues were all the main regions of Brazil with Rio de Janeiro having the capacity of 74.738 being used for the first game and the final game the stadium with also the goal-line technology was introduced during the tournament it was there to confirm if a goal should be given or not.
